Overview

KRUDO delivered the full relocation of an entire forging plant for Frauenthal Automotive in Roßwein. The scope included marketing, exclusive privately negotiated sales, disassembly, and shipment of forging press lines, forging hammer lines, shot blasting equipment, and a complete machining shop. Logistics were executed via road, river, and sea to Turkiye.

The Challenge

The project required coordinating the relocation of multiple equipment categories, each with different dismantling, packaging, and transport requirements. In addition, privately negotiated sales had to be aligned with physical relocation timelines while managing complex logistics routes that included inland waterways.

The project involved the relocation of 5 Forging Hammer & Press Lines with Quality Control Department including the entire Machining Shop & dedicated workshop to service own production equipment. The main press, in a single piece, weighed approximately 183 tonnes.

KRUDO’s Approach

KRUDO unified commercial and operational execution under a single delivery model. The team marketed and negotiated the sale of the plant assets while planning a phased dismantling strategy across equipment categories. Logistics planning accounted for road, river, and sea transport, ensuring safe handling at every transfer point. The challenge also included transporting the 183 tonne main press which was in a single piece and required extensive road & load permits for transport from Europe.
