Overview

KRUDO executed the relocation of forging press and forging hammer lines across multiple Broch Adler facilities in Germany and Slovakia. The project included acquisition, marketing, exclusive privately negotiated sales, relocation, and logistics. Execution spanned multiple sites and required coordinated handling of heavy, fully automated forging systems.

The Challenge

This project involved relocating large-scale forging equipment across two countries, with each site presenting distinct technical and logistical constraints. The machinery included a fully automated heavy-duty forging press line and a hydraulic forging hammer line, both requiring specialized handling and precise sequencing during dismantling and transport. The overall project involved 1 Forging Press Line, 1 Forging Hammer Line and a Machining Shop with the total relocation weight estimated at around 800 tonnes.

KRUDO’s Approach

KRUDO combined acquisition and sales execution with full operational delivery. The team marketed and sold the forging assets through exclusive private negotiations while managing on-site dismantling at both facilities. Logistics were planned and executed using road and sea transport to ensure controlled movement of heavy equipment across borders.

Execution Highlights

  • Acquisition and exclusive privately negotiated sales
  • Disassembly of automated forging press line and forging hammer line
  • Cross-border logistics by road and sea

Outcome

The forging press and hammer lines were successfully disassembled and relocated from both facilities under a unified execution plan. The project highlighted KRUDO’s ability to manage multi-site, heavy-industry transitions involving complex equipment and cross-border logistics. The equipment was relocated to Turkiye and Slovenia.

Services Involved

  • Asset acquisition and marketing
  • Exclusive private sales
  • Heavy equipment disassembly
  • Cross-border logistics and transport
